FRED PERRY
The story of the British brand Fred Perry can be easily described as the journey from sportswear to streetwear. Fred Perry's founder, Fred, played tennis and he was damn good at it. He became a champion at the age of 19 and won Wimbledon three times in a row. It was his killer forehand that made Fred famous, and also the fact that he was the best-dressed player far and wide. His white polo T-shirt with the laurel wreath logo quickly became Fred's signature piece. Long story short, this T-shirt, designed and made in Britain, was discovered by multiple subcultures and turned into a uniform for those who do not wish to be uniform.
