The somewhat ancient argument between Adi and Rudi Dassler ended up in the creation of two brands that now have the world at their feet (or sneakers?). While Adi was busy building adidas, Rudi headed towards Puma. The brand started off mainly on soccer fields and worked its way up to basketball shoes. With its groundbreaking disc system in the 90s, Puma quickly became one of the most comfortable shoe brands on the market. In recent years, Puma has started collaborating with many sound names, such as Rihanna and her Fenty x Puma collection or with Alexander McQueen.
