The French brand VEJA has been producing sustainable sneakers since 2005. It uses only raw materials from organic farmers or recycled materials such as PET bottles. It strictly adheres to fair production conditions and only works with factories that can guarantee them. Because of this, the cost of producing one pair of VEJA sneakers is five to seven times higher than for conventional sneakers. Unlike competing brands, VEJA doesn't spend any money on marketing or advertising, so it is able to offer its premium pieces at an affordable price.
