Founded by Edwin Faeh in 1994, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) has continued to evolve and expand its influence in the world of fashion and culture since its inception. Originally based on rugged and durable workwear , Carhartt WIP has reimagined this aesthetic for the modern consumer while maintaining the authentic spirit of the brand. Collaborations with various subcultures and artists such as Fela Kuti and Underground Resistance have helped the Carhartt WIP brand gain recognition not only in fashion, but also in music and art. With a network of over 80 brick-and-mortar stores worldwide and its own skate team and music department, it is a testament to its dynamism and ability to adapt to changing trends and consumer preferences.
