The Nike V2K Run is a Y2K retro "runner" inspired by older running models, mainly the Vomero 5. The low profile, layered mesh mesh and synthetic leather upper, plastic (TPU) panels, and rugged, slightly "dad shoe" Cushlon/dual-density foam outsole make the V2K an urban lifestyle sneaker, not a pure running shoe. It's worn by people who love the 2000s aesthetic, streetwear and want a comfortable shoe for all-day walking - with wide-leg jeans, cargo pants, leggings and skirts. Materials are predominantly synthetics, rubber and foam, no extra organic materials.
