Windbreaker Gramicci G-ZERO PRIMALOFT® Jacket

The Iconic Legacy of Gramicci at the Heart of Modern Urban Outdoor

The brand Gramicci represents an absolute cult within the selection of Queens, having defined the modern form of outdoor clothing. This brand is not just about fashion; it embodies the freedom of movement and innovation born in the rugged conditions of California's cliffs. Gramicci defines the category of functional urbanism, where the technical precision of climbing gear meets the relaxed aesthetics of the street. Today, it is sought after by those who no longer wish to choose between style and comfort, but seek an authentic heritage product that effortlessly handles a weekend in nature as well as a workday in the metropolis.

The Legacy of Stonemasters and the Birth of the Legendary G-Pants

The history of the brand is closely linked to the figure of Mika Graham, a visionary climber and member of the legendary group Stonemasters, which revolutionized climbing in Yosemite National Park during the 1970s. Dissatisfied with the clothing of the time, Graham designed the first climbing shorts featuring a revolutionary diamond-shaped crotch gusset, allowing for a 180° range of motion. He added an integrated nylon belt for quick one-handed adjustment and durable canvas, laying the foundation for a brand named after his expedition nickname.

However, the true breakthrough came with the model G-Pants. These pants quickly gained popularity beyond the climbing community, reaching surfers, skaters, and streetwear enthusiasts due to their indestructibility and distinctive silhouette. In recent decades, the brand's focus has shifted to Japan, where, under sensitive guidance, it has attained a new level of sophistication. The Japanese approach has infused Gramicci with cleaner designs, premium materials, and a sense of detail, without losing any of its original rawness and functionality.

Innovative Cuts and Materials for an Active Lifestyle

What we appreciate most about Gramicci products is their incredible durability and ergonomics, which are invaluable after thirty-five years. Every seam and detail is designed to withstand strain while looking natural in an urban context. Key elements in our selection include:

• Iconic Diamond Crotch: A gusset ensuring absolute freedom of movement, found today in both shorts and pants.
• Durable Cotton Twill: A material that gains better patina and character with each wash and wear.
• Integrated Webbing Belt: An easily adjustable belt that has become a hallmark of the brand worldwide.
• Modern Japanese Silhouettes: Cuts that beautifully blend retro outdoor vibes with current fashion trends.

Within the selection of Queens, we recommend pairing Gramicci pieces with technical jackets or minimalist t-shirts to create a relaxed yet highly functional outfit. It is an investment in timeless clothing that carries the spirit of Yosemite rebels and the precision of Japanese masters. Choose your model at Queens and experience the freedom of movement in clothing designed to live with you.
