Karhu Super Fulcrum
The Finnish brand Karhu, established in 1916, brings its running tradition to life in the form of everyday sneakers with the Super Fulcrum. The grey design exudes a sense of modesty and cleanliness, allowing these unisex sneakers to seamlessly integrate into both casual and subtly elegant wardrobes. The retro silhouette draws inspiration from archival running models while still appearing contemporary.
The upper combines synthetic materials with textiles, ensuring that the shoe retains its shape while providing excellent ventilation. Comfort is guaranteed by the KARHU Fulcrum midsole, a technology originally developed for runners that supports a smooth roll of the foot with every step. The rubber outsole provides reliable traction on both pavement and asphalt. The low cut leaves the ankle free, making these sneakers perfect for the city, paired effortlessly with straight jeans, chinos, or shorts and a sporty sweatshirt. The brand name means "bear" in Finnish, and the M logo on the side is a detail that allows you to recognize Karhu from afar.

Super Archive Boot That Never Existed - Karhu Super Fulcrum
Karhu Super Fulcrum belongs to the lifestyle category – a completely new silhouette based on an unreleased prototype from the brand's archive.
History: Inspired by a Prototype That Never Went into Production
Super Fulcrum is a brand new silhouette in Karhu's lifestyle collection, drawing from an archival prototype from 2016 named Super Fast. This prototype never went into production but served as a key inspiration for the creation of today's Super Fulcrum – it is a silhouette that truly comes to life now, despite its roots dating back nearly a decade.
Technology: Fulcrum Chassis, Finnish Line, and T-Profile Sole Pattern
Super Fulcrum combines new midsole technology with elements taken from other archival Karhu models:
- Fulcrum Chassis Throughout the Midsole: The supportive structure after which the model is named provides stability and a smooth transition with each step.
- Finnish Line Support Strap: A supportive strap wrapping around the foot across the upper, adding extra stability.
- T-Profile Sole Pattern: A modern version of Karhu's signature pattern, derived from other archival models such as Synchron Classic.
Who This Model Is For
Super Fulcrum is for you if you are looking for a distinctive statement sneaker with a truly unique archival story – ideal for collectors and fans of unconventional retro silhouettes for everyday wear.

The Finnish Bear Who Taught the World to Run - Karhu
Looking for sneakers with an authentic story that combine Nordic minimalism and cutting-edge sports technology? Finnish brand Karhu (which means "bear" in Finnish) is one of the oldest and most respected names in the world of sport. Founded in 1916 in Helsinki, it has managed to outfit Olympic champions and define modern streetwear in its more than 100-year history. If you want shoes that aren't just another mass trend, but carry a piece of history and unique design, Karhu is the right choice for you.
An innovation once owned by adidas
The Karhu brand has always been one step ahead. Did you know it was this Finnish legend that originally owned the iconic three stripe logo? It was later sold to the adidas brand for an amount that today would be equivalent to a few thousand crowns and two bottles of good whisky. Karhu then focused on developing its own technologies, such as the revolutionary Fulcrum system. This technology harnesses the body's natural energy to move more efficiently, and to this day makes Karhu sneakers one of the most comfortable shoes for everyday wear and sport.
From the running trails to the forefront of streetwear
Today, Karhu rules the streets with its iconic models from the Legend line, such as the Aria, Fusion 2.0 and Legacy 96. These silhouettes masterfully combine a retro '90s aesthetic with premium materials - from soft suede to technical mesh. What really sets Karhu apart is their eye for colour. Inspired by Finnish nature, forests and lakes, the colour combinations are so unique you'll know them at a glance. It's the perfect choice for those who embrace the "if you know, you know" style - fashion for connoisseurs who value quality and tradition over fleeting hype.
