UGG W Lowmel

UGG Lowmel: The Fusion of Iconic Sheepskin Comfort, Robust Skate Style, and Urban Trend

Are you searching for footwear that offers the unparalleled warmth and softness of classic sheepskin boots, yet resembles modern chunky sneakers from the skate park? The UGG Lowmel model is an absolute hit in the current urban style collection at Queens. This shoe cleverly incorporates the best of the iconic UGG DNA – premium suede and a cozy wool lining – transforming it into a low-profile silhouette with wide laces, a padded tongue, and a robust sole. The result is an eye-catching lifestyle hybrid that keeps you wonderfully warm while adding a relaxed 90s vibe to your autumn and winter outfits.

The Story and New Direction of UGG: From Beaches to Y2K Wool to Chunky Sneakers

The Lowmel model represents a new era for the Californian brand, which has long transcended the boundaries of home and purely winter footwear:

• Born from the Success of the Neumel Model: The Lowmel silhouette directly follows the popular ankle chukka model Neumel. It takes proven materials and the shape of the last, but reduces the profile and adds the aesthetic of chunky skate shoes from the turn of the millennium.
• The Social Media and Urban Fashion Phenomenon: At a time when wide trousers and chunky proportions dominate the fashion world, the Lowmel has become an instant viral favorite. It perfectly fills the gap between classic winter boots and cold-weather sneakers.
• Sustainable Material Approach: UGG actively utilizes recycled materials and more eco-friendly sugarcane-based foams in the Lowmel line, thereby reducing environmental impact without compromising on the luxurious feel when worn.

Construction and Technology You'll Love from the First Wear

In the UGG Lowmel sneakers, you will appreciate the combination of premium materials and thoughtful details:

• Premium Suede Upper: The soft, yet durable suede maintains the shoe's shape and gives it a distinctive matte appearance in iconic shades such as Chestnut or Sand.
• Warm UGGplush™ Lining: The interior of the shoe is lined with a patented blend of recycled wool and lyocell fibers (UGGplush™). It ensures legendary softness, excellent thermoregulation, and keeps your feet warm even without the need for thick socks.
• Chunky Skate Shoe Style Padding: The extra-padded tongue and wide collar around the ankle snugly embrace the foot, preventing heat loss and giving the silhouette the desired robust profile.
• Distinctive Wide Laces: The flat, oversized laces emphasize the retro skate aesthetic and allow the shoes to be worn both tightly laced and casually loose.
• Lightweight SugarSole™ Midsole and Outsole: The sole made from renewable sugarcane foam provides soft cushioning with every step, reliable insulation from cold pavement, and surprisingly low weight.
• Practical Heel Pull Tabs: The textile pull tab at the heel facilitates quick on and off.

How to Wear and Style UGG Lowmel?

• With Wide Baggy Jeans and Dropped Hems: The robust shape of the shoe perfectly supports wide pant hems, which naturally fall over the suede upper.
• With Tracksuits and a Puffer Jacket: Pair the Lowmel with loose grey or cream sweatpants and a cropped puffer jacket for a clean and comfortable athleisure outfit for every day.
• With Cropped Trousers and Statement Socks: Let the padded collar of the shoe and the wide lacing stand out in contrast to rolled-up straight legs.
